"The real thing"

There is no doubt in my mind that these are the real thing. The black one came first and the white one next. The white cat painting was selected as the model for the print. The detail which you have provided is fully convincing. I am truly amazed that the carver was able to carve such a key block with appropriate color blocks, and that the printer was able to print it so well. Good for you! Only one detail did they miss. The tip of the cat's tail was shortened in the print so that it looks as if it had been dipped in paint. The painting has a slightly longer tail and looks as if it is lying partly in shadow as it should to explain the color change.
