The blocks which were used to print this were displayed in the 2005 Ota-ku Folk Museum Shotei exhibition, loaned to the museum by Watanabe. The snow is "printed" normally, by letting the white paper show through, but also by the use of gofun
, an opaque white pigment sprayed onto the image.
