I have another print for sale based on the same design, but produced from a different set of blocks. Have a look at inventory number 10066 which has a red artist's seal and a separate block for applying an opaque white ink.
This print was rendered with all of the white lines as unprinted paper showing through. Looking carefully at the bleed-through lines on the verso side, I can see that there were probably 2 black blocks, one for the wide areas and the other for the detail lines.
I believe that the horse prints from Kyoto Hanga-In are priced in the marketplace much lower than their intrinsic value. This print is a bargain!
