Nikko Sacred Bridge
Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949)
or "Sacred" bridge at the Futarasan Shrine in Nikko, viewed from downstream, is an iconic scene which has been captured by most of the shin hanga
artists. Here, Koitsu masterfully captures the subtle shadings and light values of a rainy day. There are not any publisher or craftsmen seals, so it's completely open as to when this copy was actually printed.

(2.5 / 5.0) - Damaged from previous mounting. Some thin spots at top verso where tape was pulled off. A fade line and slight matburn is evident (mostly at the left and top) at the edge of where the matboard window was.
