Takahashi Shotei (1871-1945) - You can find lots of information about Shotei on my All About Takahashi Shotei page
. He used various art names, such as Hiroaki, Rakutei, and Kakei.
This is the same design as a smaller print (S-3 in my Shotei catalog) which is in the Watanabe 1936 catalog as #164. There is no mention of the larger size of this design in the post-quake catalogs. Shimizu Hisao, in the Ota-ku Folk Museum 2005 Shotei exhibition catalog, lists a couple of copies of this design in this size. He dates one (# 121) as pre-quake and he dates this one (# 122) as post-quake (1924-1927). I'm going with Shimizu-san's dates on this one.

(3.5 / 5.0) - There used to be 2 thin spots in the upper verso corner where the print was torn from its backing. I have restored the damage with some patches. There's a bit of some kind of residue on the left side of the verso.
