A rare pre-quake design, all in blue (ai-zuri
). A close look at this print reveals a lot of visual dimensions. There is a man in a launch talking with a woman on the shore in the foreground. A stately tree and house just behind them. Some sailboats with a village behind them. In the background a classic Shotei mountain scene.
Watanabe's inventory number (No. 357) at the bottom verso is proof that this is a pre-quake print. That same inventory number in the post-quake 1936 catalog is for an ukiyo-e reprint.

(3.0 / 5.0) - Pretty good shape. Light matburn. Sloppy trim job into the image on right side. Paper fibers show printing wear on lower half verso. Some kind of red discoloration just on the edges at top right corner.
